Luggage Is there restriction for a number of passenger or amount of luggage for various vehicles?
Reservations and Traveling What is the maximum deadline to make reservation?
NYC United Limo service suggests that all reservations be made at least 12 hours in advance to guarantee the availability of the car. However, we can often provide unscheduled pickups. You may call us or text our customer helpdesk for same-day reservation or booking.
Will I get a call when my car arrives?
As a courtesy to our customers, we attempt to contact all our customers when their drivers are on location. However, we are not always able to contact passengers upon a driver’s arrival due to heavy call volume.
Can the driver come into my building to pick up my luggage and bring it out to the car?
Unfortunately, drivers are unable to leave their vehicles unattended. The drivers will be pleased to assist with your luggage from the front of your building to the car.
What is the maximum deadline to cancel reservation?
Should you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, we suggest you do so at least 3 hours in advance for pickups in NYC 5 Boroughs, including Airports and at least 6 hours in advance for pickup in Connecticut, Westchester and New Jersey including Airports. Cancellations made after these time-frames may be subjected to fees.
Is a last minute change to my reservation allowed?
At NYC UNITED LIMO, to the best of our capabilities, we make efforts to make provision for last-minute changes. Still, the highest we have been able to achieve now is 3 hours before your pick up in NYC 5 Boroughs, including Airports and at least 6 hours in advance for pickups in Connecticut, Westchester, and New Jersey.
Provided that I have already made my reservation from the airport, what should I do once I land?
After you retrieve your luggage, please call us with your confirmation number so that we can direct you to your car. The driver will pick you up within minutes at the Passenger Pick-Up Areas, which is available outside the Terminals. You may reach us through the telephone lines provided in the “Contact us” section on our website.
For airport pickups, do I need to reserve a car in advance or can I call for a car once I land? How long will it take to pick me up?
At NYC UNITED LIMO, we can provide unscheduled airport pickups. Kindly get in touch with us once you have landed to check our availability. If you would like to ensure availability, we recommend that you book a car 12 hours in advance. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes for the driver to pull up to your terminal.
Payment/Tolls/Parking/Cost Will I be issued a receipt for all cash payments ?
At the end of every trip, your driver will provide you with a cash receipt. If you forgot to get a receipt in the vehicle, you can call our customer helpdesk and supply the details of your trip; a receipt will be faxed or mailed to you.
Who is responsible for any toll charges incurred during my trip?
Passengers are responsible for any toll charges incurred throughout the trip. Upon arrival at your destination, your driver will inform you of the additional toll charge. The fare quoted by a reservationist or on our website does not include the toll amount.
Can I pay with a personal or business check?
Unfortunately, we do not accept checks. We accept cash, all major credit cards, including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Do you charge for waiting time? If yes, how is the charges calculated?
Yes. We may charge for Waiting time if a passenger arrives late to a pick-up. Waiting time is calculated based on the hourly rate for a particular vehicle and is charged at 15-minute increments.
Time spent waiting at additional stops will also be charged as waiting time. Waiting time charges may apply after the complimentary waiting time expires on a round-trip.
We do not charge waiting time for curbside pick-ups at the airport.
We charge waiting time for meet & greet service at the airport.
For all MEET AND GREET, please take note of these:
The first 45minutes are free for international flights, we will charge for all additional waiting time.
The first 30 minutes are free for domestic flights, additional waiting time beyond that attracts charges.
Does parking fee apply? If yes, when does it apply and how much is it?
The parking fee applies when you request a meet & greet service at the airport. Parking fees range from $3 to $20.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
When paying by credit card, you are required to supply the credit card number in advance for pre-approval. Providing numbers is only for pre-approval purposes and does not constitute payment for the Trip. Upon reserving with a credit or debit card, a preliminary hold equivalent to 150% of the quoted fare is placed on the card to secure the anticipated total including tolls, gratuity, additional stops, and waiting time. This hold is released when payment is processed at the end of the Trip. Or approximately 3-5 business days after the Trip.
